Activities & Events

Christian Music Coffee House:  Saturday, February 4th, sponsored by the Worship & Music Team.  We are looking for you to start thinking about what you would like to perform--music, vocal or instrumental, solo or small group.  Each "act" will perform three songs.   Sign up on the bulletin board.

Souper Bowl Sunday:  Sunday, February 5th.  Bring canned goods for world hunger to worship service.

"Holy Ambition" presented by Yvonne Conte:  Saturday, February 11th at 9:00 a.m. at the Aspen House in Radisson.  A light breakfast will be served.  Conte, an internationally known speaker, author, and comedienne, will be speaking to us on a whole new way to look at our priorities in life.  Who won't benefit by learning a better way to deal with the stress in our everyday lives?  Questions, call Marcy Grundner.

Ash Wednesday Services:  February 22nd at 12:00 p.m. (spoken) and 7:30 p.m. (Holy Communion).

Lenten Dinner/Service:  Wednesday, February 29th.  Come for a 6:30 p.m. dinner catered by Mazzye's Meats, $7 per individual or $20 for a family, followed by service at 7:30 p.m.

Chili Dinner/Quelf Game Night:  Saturday, March 3rd at 6:30 p.m. in the fellowship hall.  Bring your favorite chili, bread and/or dessert to share.  Then join us for the hilarious game of Quelf beginning after dinner.

Movie Madness:  Saturday, March 10th, in the fellowship hall.  Come to 5:00 p.m. Christian Cafe.  Then bring a dish to pass for a potluck supper at 6:00. At 7:00 p.m., we will be showing Of Gods and Men.  "Under threat by fundamentalist terrorists, a group of Trappist monks stationed with an impoverished Algerian community must decide whether to leave or stay."

Red Cross Blood Drive:  Saturday, April 14th  from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Heart's Desire Auction:  Sunday, May 20th.  Proceeds from the homemade items/food/services auctioned off will benefit a charity and the building of the pavilion here at King of Kings.
