Our youth keep busy! Here are a few snapshots from some recent events.

 

Recognition of our Seniors

Each spring our high school seniors are honored at a Saturday evening banquet, and then participate in a special worship service Sunday morning. They are given a fleece blanket to accompany them to college in the fall, which was made by the senior high advisors and parent volunteers.

Other annual events for our youth include mission trips, bowling, visits to other churches, "all Lutheran" events (Luther Bowl, Volleyball Marathon), the CROP Walk, service projects, Fun Nights, NOOMA discussions and other Christian Education events, Camp, and much more.

Luther Bowl

Each year on the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday in January, the Lutheran churches in our Central New York and Mohawk Valley conferences enjoy an afternoon of bowling at Flamingo Bowl in Liverpool. One of the Pastors leads worship, one of the churches' bands leads music, King of Kings hosts lunch (pizza, soda, and Oreos), and usually around 100 teens head off to bowl for several hours.
